BIOLAB – University teaching unit
BIOLAB systems have been designed, and are offered, specifically to Universities and Teaching organizations. The BIOLAB system allows for experimentation with a large variety of variables like pressure, temperature, time to temperature, time, proportions, feedstock types, etc. Batches from 25 to 100 Liters can be made with the BIOLAB.
Thanks to its variable speed pump, students can experiment with different agitation speeds. Speeds can range from 10% to 200%. All units include three phase shielded motors, which allows them to work at higher pressure and temperature ranges. BIOLAB units include more heating elements per square centimeter than other units, this allows the units to reach higher temperatures, faster and experiment with heat transfer time.
All BIOLAB units include a methanol recovery vacuums. The vacuum system allows for excess methanol extraction. All BIOLAB units are fitted with a one micron exit filter.
BIOLAB is the ideal teaching tool to form the
Biodiesel professionals of tomorrow. BIOLAB units allow
for normal transesterification and also for CentralBioDiesel's
Hight Temperature Protocol, which eliminates the need
